The Mediterranean Laboratory Foundation awarded the Prize “Laboratorio Mediterraneo” for the best long film, ex-aequo, to two independent productions: Ekopres-Ekspres by the Slovenian director Igor Sterk and Mondo Bobo by the Croatian director Goran Rusinovic and, for the best short film, to Moja Domovma by Milos Radovic (Fed. Republic of Yugoslavia).

The ceremony to present the Mediterranean Media Award to Ansamed took place on 24 October 2005 in the Sala Vesuvio at the Maison de la Méditerranée in Naples. The award was delivered to the Director Carlo Gambalonga.

- Ignacio Ramonet, Director of “Le Monde Diplomatique”, recipient of the 2005 Mediterranean Award
- Mario Rosso, delegated director of ANSA, recipient of the 2005 Mediterranean Award
ECOPEACE Friends of the Earth Middle East, winner of the Euro-Med Award for Dialogue 2010, received the award on December the 3rd during a prestigious Bestowing Ceremony held in Brussels.
On October 25th was held the ceremony for the Mediterranean Media Award 2004 to the Moroccan daily Al Bayane, aiming at “emphasising the action of this newspaper in a transition moment involving all Islamic societies, which is particularly delicate for Moroccan society”.
