The 6th World Urban Forum organised in Naples by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) also aimed at promoting the role of women as actors in the development of cities. To this end, 2 September 2012 was dedicated to the Gender Equality Action Assembly (GEAA).

The GEAA discussed the progress made and challenges that remain for the implementation of the Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP) outlining the strategic actions and their political implications. This plan sets out the guidelines that guarantee women and men more equitable access to public resources and services. Moreover, the promote equal participation of women in all aspects of town planning. Within the framework of its stated objectives, a debate was held on sustainable way of moving forward towards the attainment of economic empowerment of women in cities and guidelines were laid down on the policies to be adopted.

The awarding ceremony for the Mediterranean Awards 2010 took place on the 13th of June 2010 at the Theatre of San Carlo in Naples.
The Mediterranean Award "Ambassador of the Mediterranean" - the "Totem of Peace" by sculptor Mario Molinari - was given to S.A.R. Beatrice di Borbone delle Due Sicilie.

Amanda Bonini, last partner of Pino Daniele, accompanied by her daughter Eleonora visited the Peace Museum and the section dedicated to "Pino Daniele Alive".
A journey between intense emotions and memories.
It was she who accompanied Pino - together with her son Alessandro - on her last visit to the Museum on December 18,2014, when the agreement with President Capasso was ratified for the realization of the section dedicated to the great musician.

The president of the Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso and Pia Molinari met the Councilor for Youth Alessandra Clemente at Palazzo San Giacomo.
On this occasion the next joint programs with the Foundation were discussed and a copy of the "Kimiyya" bags made by Syrian women who had children murdered by the civil war was handed over to the Councilor.
The Councilor has signed the manifesto of "Kimiyya. The Women actresses of the Dialogue” signed by women from 82 countries involved in the various sectors.
