The "Totem for Peace" is a trademark duly filed in accordance with the regulations. Therefore, any initiatives undertaken by third parties using that trademark or the word "Totem for Peace" in any context and for whatever purpose, it integrates to all intents and purposes the case of trademark infringement.
The "Totem of Peace", the work of the Turin sculptor Mario Molinari, is the symbol of the "United States of the World" and represents the Peace: it was chosen in 1997 by 3,000 representatives of 181 countries and since then the "United States of the World" with the "Fondazione Mediterraneo" are spreading this universal symbol by setting up the network of "Cities for Peace".
The iron structure, processed with a special zinc, for the Tricolored Totem for Peace has been completed. Also the construction of the letters "in negative" for the title of the monumental work has been completed in very short time. The Totem will be inaugurated in Turin on May the 4th.

The structure of the Tricolored Totem for Peace for Turin, a project designed for the 150th Anniversary of the Italian Unity, has been built in record times.
Thanks to the commitment of the companies SAEM s.r.l. and Project Stone, the Fondazione Mediterraneo has built the iron structure of the 15 meters high Tricolored Totem for Peace in just 5 days. This will be unveiled in Turin on 4 May.
On the occasion of President Giorgio Napolitano’s visit to the Officine Grandi Riparazioni for the 150th Anniversary of the Italian Unity, the Fondazione Mediterraneo has presented the Tricolored Totem for Peace that will be unveiled in Turin on 4 May, as a symbol of peace to celebrate the Unity. The initiative has been unanimously appreciated by Prefect Manzo and other authorities.
Prefect Pasquale Manzo has handed over the red shirt identical to those bought by Nino Bixio for Garibaldi in 1859 to the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano and, at the same time, has strongly appreciated and promoted the project of the Totem for Peace that the Fondazione Mediterraneo is disseminating worldwide.
