The first day of the "MED BLUE ECONOMY" International Conference organized by CISE, the Italian Confederation for Economic Development, in collaboration with the Campania Region and, among others, the Fondazione Mediterraneo took place at the Royal Court Theater of Naples.

The Director General of CISE ing. Salvartore Puca illustrated the pilot project of the PON Legality 2014/20 "ASI cura", which sees the Naples Consortium as the implementing entity to ensure the safety of industrial areas; a project worth 92 million euros and involving five southern regions, with the effective participation of Eurispes and Universitas Mercatorum.
The president Capasso carried out an intervention on the importance of constituting and strengthening a coalition of "shared values ​​and interests".

In Naples, at the beautiful emotional and cultural setting offered by the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Museum of Peace - MAMT, the third step of the journey towards the United States of Europe took place.

The third stage continued along the way highlighting the European Union caused by Brexit and the confederal model that is no longer able to face the internal challenges of the demands of equality and security and external on the type of crisis resulting from globalization and the inability to manage in a unified way the geopolitical crises of the Mediterranean and of the American continent.

The International Conference on Fraternity (Global Conference of Human Fraternity) promoted by the Council of Elders, Council of Muslim Wise Men, chaired by Shaykh al-Azhar Ahmad al-Tayyib and founded in Abu Dhabi in 2014, took place in Abu Dhabi from 3 to 4 February 2019.
A delegation from the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Anna Lindh Italia Federation took part in these days at the historic visit of Pope Francis to the Emirates and to the interreligious meeting "Human Fraternity", to which the pope gave his contribution.
Before the Pope's arrival, 500 religious leaders from all over the world have already gathered, who have discussed in 21 workshops with 60 speakers, of whom 30 are Muslims and 30 are the majority of Christian churches.
European Islamic delegations came from Ukraine, Algeria, Lebanon, Mauritania, Tunisia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bosnia, Albania, Kosovo, Croatia, Russia, India, Italy and Pakistan.
The international meeting in Abu Dhabi was opened by high-ranking members of the Islamic world, including Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the Arab League and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance of the UAE.

Three main themes discussed in the two days of meetings, in turn divided into sub-topics.
