The professor András Szöllősi-Nagy, one of the leading experts on water resources and UNESCO manager, visited the section dedicated to the sculptor Mario Molinari of the Museum of Peace - MAMT.
Welcomed by Pia Molinari and President Michele Capasso, the scientist and expert of modern art expressed great appreciation for Mario Molinari: "a great artist I met in the 1980s and who represents a rare example of creativity and rigor".

Friday, March 22, 2019, at 4.30 pm, at the headquarters of the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Museum of Peace - MAMT, the International Conference "The World Water Day" was held on the occasion of the World Water Day.
On this occasion, the “World Water Development Report 2019” (WWDR) was presented as a preview, entitled “Leaving no onebehind”, which aims to inform policy makers on how to improve water resource management and access to water services and sanitation, in order to overcome poverty and tackle social and economic inequalities.

The World Water Day is celebrated on March 22 of each year to remind UN Member States to strengthen their commitment to carry out the recommendations established by the UN General Assembly and to promote concrete activities in their countries for the protection of the resource water.
The Fondazione Mediterraneo, on the occasion of its thirty-year anniversary, which has always been a supporter of the United Nations water programs, organized this Conference - in collaboration with UNESCO, the Order of Malta, the CISE (Italian Confederation for Economic Development) and the "Anna Lindh Italy Federation" - on the occasion of the World Water Day and as the first event among those planned in view of the WORLD PEACE FORUM 2019 organized in Naples by the same Foundation.
On this occasion, the president Michele Capasso presented the "Appeal for water".

The participants in World Water Day visited the Museum of Peace - MAMT and, in particular, the Totem for Peace and the section dedicated to Mario Molinari, a sculptor of color.
The speakers prof. András Szöllősi-Nagy, Dr. Michela Miletto and prof. Lucio Ubertini expressed admiration for the sculptor of color.
