Great participation in the Museum of Peace - MAMT for a didactic and experiential activity for the artistic musical training of students enrolled in institutions and accredited courses of the "University and Research: the conservative boys from all over Italy.
Greeted by the president Michele Capasso, by Alessandro Daniele and by Fabrizio Bianco they took part in a unique lesson in the stylistic-co-harmonic analysis of the music of Pino Daniele.
A significant moment that has received great enthusiasm.

On the occasion of the day dedicated to solidarity and hospitality, President Michele Capasso welcomed visitors from all over the world gathered around the Totem for Peace by sculptor Mario Molinari. The monumental work with the urn of the "Unknown Migrant" was built in the Piazzale Costiera Costiera of the Port of Naples and visited by Pope Francis.

Thousands of volumes welcome visitors to convey again the emotion of the "paper" book: in particular for young people who must become "positive hunters", thanks to culture.

The "European Day of Jewish Culture" celebrated at the Museum of Peace - MAMT.
Large influx of visitors to the Museum especially for the section dedicated to Jewish culture. The event allowed us to learn about and study in depth the history, culture and traditions of Judaism, including guided tours and autonomous emotional journeys.
President Capasso personally guided visitors on an extraordinary tour recalling Shimon Peres, (among the founding members of the Mediterranean Foundation), Leha Rabin and Abu Mazen.
European Day of Jewish Culture: all the events in Naples Events in NaplesThe event, now in its twentieth edition, was attended by thirty-four European countries.

Many visitors to the Museum of Peace - MAMT to commemorate the attack on the Twin Towers in New York on 11 September 2001.
Coming from various parts of the world, they stressed the importance of peace against all terrorism.

99 years after its birth, the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Museum of Peace - MAMT recall Antonino Caponnetto through films, photos and stories that retrace the story of a great Italian magistrate, best known for having led the Antimafia Pool, designed by Rocco Chinnici in 1980, from 1984 to 1990. After the murder of Chinnici he took his place in November 1983.
The great nostalgia for all that has left us remains unchanged.

Seven years after his death, the Museum of Peace - MAMT recalled Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini.
Videos, testimonies and documents have retraced the life of the Cardinal and his commitment to peace.
On this occasion, the "Mediterranean Award for Interreligious Dialogue" that the Mediterraneo Foundation attributed to him on 4 January 2013 was recalled.

The President of the Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso had a series of meetings in Rome with ambassadors from various countries and institutional representatives. The main purpose is the definition and preparation of the main activities for the thirty-year anniversary of the Foundation, which will take place in Naples and in various Mediterranean countries from November 2019 to November 2020.

Following the devastating fires that are devastating the Amazon forest - the world's lung - a day dedicated to the beauty of the Amazon took place at the MAMT Museum, with videos, testimonies and finds.
In conclusion, the participants launched an appeal to the President of Brazil and to the next participants of the G7 of Biarritz (France) so that concrete actions are immediately put in place for the defense of the Amazon forest.

During a visit to the religious community of San Biagio, Sister Maria Pia Giudici dedicated her latest book entitled "Vivere in Pienezza" to President Michele Capasso and Pia Molinari.
In thanking Sr. Maria Pia, Michele Capasso and Pia Molinari, they stressed the irreplaceable role played by the religious in promoting interreligious dialogue, especially among the younger generations.
