The city of Latina has declared to be fully ready to realize the Totem for Peace in association with the Chamber of Commerce of Latina.

Dima El Horr was one of the students who attended the "Aristote" training courses for script-writers, organized by the Fondazione Mediterraneo in 200-2004 within the framework of Cinemamed Program, co-financed by the European Union.
The success of this action is shown by the fact that many scripts realized with the Fondazione Mediterraneo have become successful films. It is the case of "Every Day is a Holiday", which is obtaining a remarkable success in France and in other Countries.
The Minister of Tourism Michela Vittoria Brambilla, the President of Camera di Commercio di Latina Vincenzo Zottola and the Presidente of Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso proposed the realization of the "Totem for Peace" as instrument to strengthen cultural tourism
Inside the Trieste Film Festival, with which the Fondazione Mediterraneo collaborates since 1995, it has been assigned the Mediterranean Award Cinema 2010 to the best short-film in contest.
The Totem for Peace is a symbol of peace that joins both the message of Pope Benedetto XVI of January the 1st 2010 and that of the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano of December the 31st 2009.
