THE JURY OF THE GRIMALDI PRIZE MET IN NAPLES

Like every year, the international jury of the "Mare Nostrum Award" met in Naples: the Award established eleven years ago by the Grimaldi Group. On this occasion the president Michele Capasso, a member of the jury, underlined the importance of the Award to restore trust to a region - the Mediterranean - victim of wars, migrations and negligence of a policy that seems to have lost the sense of the common good.
The members recalled the president of the jury Folco Quilici who recently passed away and was replaced by Bruno Vespa, who recalled the documentary filmmaker and his friend.

THE 15th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SPACE OPERATIONS

Hosted and organized by CNES (Centre National d’Etudes  Spatiales) and powered by AIAA, SpaceOps 2018 is a technical forum of the Space Mission Operations and Ground Systems community that addresses state-of-the-art operations principles, methods, and tools.
SpaceOps 2018 provides the opportunity for you to share mission’s experience, challenges, and innovation solutions.
Held biennially since 1990, the conference will attract technologists, scientists, managers from agencies, academic and research institutions, operators and industry and fosters managerial and technical interchanges on all aspects of space mission operations.
The Fondazione Mediterraneo with the United States of the World participates in the conference by providing information on the "Orbitecture" program exhibited at the Museum of  Peace - MAMT as part of the "Civilization of the city" exhibition of Studio PCA Int.
On this occasion, the titles of "Standard Bearers of the United States of the World" were awarded to the young scientists present from various countries.

The Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, coming from 4 continents and representing the "Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences AUXILIUM", gathered around the Molinari "Totem for Peace".
Accompanied by the principal Sister Pina Del Core and the Superior of the new Vice Province, Mary Mother of the Church, Sister Maria del Carmen Canales Calzadilla, they visited the section of the Museum of Peace - MAMT dedicated to the sculptor of color.

THE FMA OF THE PONTIFICAL FACULTY OF "AUXILIUM" COMMUNICATION SCIENCES FROM 4 CONTINENTS SIGN THE KIMIYYA MANIFESTO

The Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, coming from 4 continents and representing the "Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences AUXILIUM", represented by the principal Sister Pina Del Core and the Superior of the new Vice Province, Mary Mother of the Church, Sr. Maria del Carmen Canales Calzadilla, have signed the Kimiyya Manifesto for the defense of women's rights.
The FMA Sisters expressed their admiration for this initiative of the Fondazione Mediterraneo and for the manifesto already signed by Mother Superior Yvonne Reungoat.
