During a meeting between the director of the "Cité de la Culture" of Tunis Youssef Lachkhem and the president Michele Capasso, concrete possibilities were explored for a structured collaboration between the "Museum of Peace - MAMT" and the "Cité de la Culture" in order to enhance the respective institutions through initiatives in the fields of art, music, creativity, multimedia and cultural promotion in general.
Accompanied by his fraternal friend Anis Boufrika, President Capasso visited the medina and the casbah of Tunis, interviewing craftsmen heirs of ancient crafts, such as the making of “chechia”, the ancient typical Tunisian headdress.
