So much excitement today at the Museum of Peace and the United States of the World with young people from different countries and confessions: with the 107 videowalls, video conferencing systems and Skype we connected live with Krakow and with so many young people present at the XXXIth World Youth Day.
Naples and the Mediterranean in Krakow and vice versa.
A day that truly gives a sense of what has been done and gives us all hope in a peace built by the young, producers of our future.
On this occasion, the titles of "Standard Bearers of the United States of the World" were awarded to many young GMC participants.

A world of emotions among visitors to the Museum of Peace - MAMT.
President Capasso recalled the figure of Father Hamel - the priest murdered on 26 July by two young terrorists in France - and indicated the path of dialogue and love as the only one to travel.

Dear Friends,
The events of the last few days, the recent attacks in Kabul, Nice, Monaco, Dhaka and so on for a long list all call even more to strengthen those essential initiatives that can promote mutual understanding and mutual respect: on this subject, I have sent you a letter this morning to all the bodies of the Anna Lindh Foundation (all. 1).
There are two important events involving the Italian Network in this second part of 2016:
- The ALF FORUM in Malta at the end of October 2016 (the first working document I received in the last few days from the ALF Secretariat – all. 2).
- The General Assembly of the ITALIAN ALF NETWORK to be held in the 4th quarter of 2016. In this regard, in accordance with the agreement stipulated for Step 7 (2015-2017) between the Lead Partner (Mediterranean Foundation) and the ALF, a Comité de Pilotage (consisting of 9 people, 5 of whom are women and 5 young people) is to be set up in order to assist the Lead Partner in the organisation and organisation of the General Assembly and in the activities for the development of the planning capacity planned immediately prior to the Assembly (I had already given my information on this subject).
- Awaiting to let you know within a short time the OdG and the dates of the General Assembly, also after the outcome of the Executive Committee's indications, and to send you the annual News Letter, as provided for in Step 7 "Invitation to submit an application" for the Pilotage Committee as described above, in accordance with the directives contained in the "invitation to apply" (all. 3).
BRICS AND RIDE TOGETHER TO PROMOTE PEACE

Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa and the Italian Network Euro Mediterranean Dialogue (RIDE - Anna Lindh Foundation) can work together to promote peace and stability in the Mediterranean. This, in summary, is the message launched during a round table dedicated to the Brics and hosted at the Indian Embassy in Rome. Cooperation between Ride and Brics, underlined the Permanent Representative of the People's Republic of China to FAO, Niu Dun, could have positive effects, particularly in the field of refugee emergency. A Mediterranean region, he recalled, in which Italy plays an important role. The presence of Brics in the Mediterranean should not be perceived negatively. If effectively coordinated with the European Union, the action of Brazil, Russia, India, China, China and South Africa - particularly in the field of trade and economic penetration - can contribute to the strengthening of stability and security in the Mediterranean, stressed Enrico Molinaro, director of the Executive Committee of the Italian Network for Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue. The event hosted at the Indian Embassy was promoted on the occasion of the Brics Presidency by India and was organized in collaboration with Eurispes and Prospettive Mediterranee. (ANSAmed).

Do not give in to terror and terrorism. Freedom, democracy and normality are achievements that we will never abandon.
President Capasso welcomed at the Museum of Peace - MAMT the musical group "Guappecartò" that for years has been in Paris, in a synthesis between Southern Italy and France.
On this occasion, the values of peace and dialogue and the fight against all forms of abuse and terrorism were reaffirmed.

With the images of joy and affection of my dear friend Jean-Paul Seytre - General Consul of France in Naples - still in my eyes and heart - on the occasion of the French National Day (look at his post on this page) I am reached by a friend of Nice who, crying, tells me about this umpteenth massacre: children, men and women who have been cut off as if they were at war on the promenade in celebration by the shiny madness and anger of angry rage.
We embrace our brothers and sisters in France and around the world saying again NO TO TERROR and YES TO DIALOGUE AND THE MUTUAL RESPECT.
