MUSEUM OF PEACE - MAMT PRESENTED AT UNESCO

Secretary General Michele Capasso presented the UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD with the Museum of Peace to UNESCO.
During the meeting, he dwelt on the importance for the Region of Campania of hosting a unique site that recounts - with the aid of high technology - the cultural, environmental, artistic, archaeological and historical beauty of the Mediterranean: in particular of the Region of Campania through the programme "THE CAMPANIA OF EMOTIONS".
The visit to the United States of the World and the Museum of Peace by UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova was recalled on this occasion, as well as her appreciation for the site defined as "emotional heritage of humanity".
On this occasion, certificates of "Standard Bearers of the United States of the World" were awarded.

The Fondazione Mediterraneo participated in the 2019 edition of AI Paris, which aims to support decision makers, in the necessary transition of their organizational models, by preparing them for future transformation projects: Compliance, transparency, change management, governance, agility, resource planning... The prefect of Chieti Giacomo Barbato visited the Museum of Peace - MAMT.
The prefect Barbato welcomed by the president Michele Capasso and by the director Pia Molinari expressed his appreciation for an important work for dialogue and peace.
On this occasion it was made a gift of the "Totem of Peace Tricolor" by the sculptor Mario Molinari.

On the occasion of the 73th anniversary of the Italian Republic, the Fondazione Mediterraneo participated in commemorative events in various Italian cities.
From Naples to Turin, from Rome to Chieti, members of the Foundation paid tribute to the Italian Republic, guardian of the values of democracy, freedom and social justice.

The presentation of the book: "Paths of democratic transition and reconciliation policies in North Africa" by Anna Maria di Tolla was held at the Museum of Peace - MAMT.
On this occasion the president Michele Capasso recalled the thirty years of activity of the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the collaborations to facilitate reconciliation policies; among them the request for reconciliation of the king of Morocco Mohammed VI presented prorpio in the seat of Naples of the Fondazione Mediterraneo in 2006.
