THE FONDAZIONE MEDITERRANEO PARTICIPATES IN THE OPENING OF THE XXX UNIVERSIADE

The Fondazione Mediterraneo and the United States of the World participated in the inauguration of the XXX Universiade, which saw the delegations of 118 countries in Naples confront themselves on 18 sports disciplines.
The entire Campania Region and the city of Naples welcomed young university sportsmen from all over the world, in the presence of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.
"An important moment for the city and for Campania - affirmed the Secretary General Michele Capasso - that testifies the importance of Sport as a concrete tool for dialogue and peace: the United States of the World is strongly committed to this theme and a specific article on the value of sport as an instrument of peace has been proposed in the text of the Constitution".
On this occasion, certificates of "Standard Bearers of the United States of the World" were awarded.
