| During a visit by the UNESCO director General Irina Bokova to the Headquarters of the Fondazione Mediterraneo, an appeal was launched by the international committee of the Fondazione Mediterraneo asking for cultural heritage to be considered as a vector for peace and dialogue among cultures and religions. |
