Federation Anna Lindh Italia || Onlus

 

The Federazione Anna Lindh Italia, not-for-profit, shares the aims of the Anna Lindh Foundation: created in 2004 by the European Commission together with the 42 Euro-Mediterranean countries.
The Federation's objective is to promote, support and implement the cultural and social interaction between Italy and the Euro-Mediterranean countries in various fields of action including: art, architecture, archaeology, environment, crafts, youth, women, human rights, migrants, crafts, employment, training, education, education, childhood, sports, interreligious dialogue, legality, music, food culture, empowerment, tradition, tourism, social solidarity, exchanges.
In particular, the Federation intends to implement initiatives in favour of young people, especially aimed at restoring their hope and confidence through the promotion of the "true",the "beautiful" and the "good”

The General Meeting of RIDE took place in its headquarters, in occasion of the events for the tenth anniversary of Anna Lindh Foundation.
Joined the executive director of ALF Andreu Claret, Parliamentar Minister Enrico Granara, president Hon. Michele Capasso and co coordinators Elisa Adorno and Roberto Russo.
The works had been anticipated by two days of thematic workshops which stressed the importance of the work done by RIDE for Anna Lindh Foundation, and analysing prompt the actions to undertake under the sphere of Step 7, especially advising to focus on Assemblies, training courses and a yearly newsletter written in both languages (IT and ENG).
In this occasion Eleonora Insalaco presented the ALF report of 2014 and Eugenia Ferragina the report on Mediterranean Economy.

It has been held at Fondazione Mediterraneo the Opening Conference of events for the tenth anniversary of Anna Lindh Foundation with the partecipation of all institution authorities: 42 Ambassadors members of the Governor’s board, Consultative Committee and National Networks Leader.
The Fondazione Mediterraneo has illustrated the programs for young people involved in intercultural dialogue, including through the new means of information and communication.

Under the dominion of EU Italian Semester Presidency and ten years of Anna Lindh Foundation, took place the meeting of Alf Boards of Governor. In this occasion the president Michele Capasso opened the headquarters and knowledge of Fondazione Mediterraneo for the hospitality of Alf Consultative Board and a Center for documentation and translation. The ambassadors who joined to the meeting appreciated the events which had been held in Naples and for the first time let gather together all the organs from Anna Lindh Foundation- Consultative Board, Board of Governors, National Networks Leaders –the recipient of the programms, Euromed-media conference with Coommissioner  Fule (whom started with the first steps for the next triennium of structurate dialogue)and has hosted  important conference as that of president  Romano Prodi.
The motions got the approval of  ALF and other board members, thanks to the support of Parliamentary Minister Granara – Italian member of Board of Governors – and thanks to a mutual regard between Board’s member.

In occasion of events for the 10 years ALF, under the presidency of André Azoulay, from the Foundation’s Consultative Board Anna Lindh (FAL) and it have been talked about the Foundation’s future. The President Michele Capasso in its speech highlighted the RIDE role as an example of good working practice. Capasso remembered Consultative Board had its first meeting in the headquarter of Consultative Board and it has been launched the proposal to open the board of ALF at Fondazione Mediterraneo.
