The Federazione Anna Lindh Italia, not-for-profit, shares the aims of the Anna Lindh Foundation: created in 2004 by the European Commission together with the 42 Euro-Mediterranean countries.
The Federation's objective is to promote, support and implement the cultural and social interaction between Italy and the Euro-Mediterranean countries in various fields of action including: art, architecture, archaeology, environment, crafts, youth, women, human rights, migrants, crafts, employment, training, education, education, childhood, sports, interreligious dialogue, legality, music, food culture, empowerment, tradition, tourism, social solidarity, exchanges.
In particular, the Federation intends to implement initiatives in favour of young people, especially aimed at restoring their hope and confidence through the promotion of the "true",the "beautiful" and the "good”

On the occasion of the Feast of St. Francis the "Federation Anna Lindh Italy" with the National Corps of Harbour Offices - Coast Guard, the Port Authority of Naples, the Municipality of San Sebastiano al Vesuvius and other members of the Federation celebrated the feast of St. Francis with a thought to migrants dead in the sea.
On this occasion, the urn was blessed with the relics of Migrante Ignoto - kept in the Totem for Peace located in the Piazzale Guardia Costiera del Porto di Napoli - and the Appello peri Migranti was renewed.
The associations interested in helping migrants and members of the Federation have intervened and called for operational policies in the face of an epochal emergency.

The Anna Lindh Italian Foundation Network has celebrated the "National Day of Immigration Victims" by supporting the initiatives of the "Comitatotreottobre": many of its members have taken part in various Italian cities.
From Lampedusa to Naples there have been a series of initiatives aimed at raising awareness of the problem of migrants.
Still in this day 9 migrants died, 6,000 received thanks to the Coast Guard, 18 missions at sea.
President Capasso thanked the Municipality of Naples, the Coast Guard and other institutions for joining the Italian Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation in this initiative.

The President of the Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso spoke at the 30th interreligious meeting in Assisi organized by the Community of St. Egidio.
On this occasion he retraced the activities that in 27 years have characterized the Fondazione Mediterraneo on the theme of interreligious dialogue, recalling the Forums held in Naples in 1997, 2003, 2006 and 2009 organized by the Foundation.
President Capasso, in his capacity as Lead Partner of the Italian Network of the "Anna Lindh Foundation", explained the role and importance of the institution based in Alexandria, Egypt, and the activities of some members of the Italian Network on the theme of inter-religious dialogue, such as the ISA Academy and the Salesian University.

Six hundred institutions together to promote dialogue and peace especially involving young people:"hunters" of the positive and "builders" of the future.

The Federation, not-for-profit, shares the aims of the Anna Lindh Foundation: created in 2004 by the European Commission together with the 42 Euro-Mediterranean countries, it has its headquarters in Alexandria, Egypt and is structured into national networks set up in the respective countries.
The Federation's objective is to promote, support and implement the cultural and social interaction between Italy and the Euro-Mediterranean countries in various fields of action including: art, architecture, archaeology, environment, crafts, youth, women, human rights, migrants, crafts, employment, training, education, education, childhood, sports, interreligious dialogue, legality, music, food culture, empowerment, tradition, tourism, social solidarity, exchanges.
In particular, the Federation intends to implement initiatives in favour of young people, especially aimed at restoring their hope and confidence through the promotion of "true","beautiful" and "good": one of the objectives is to support exchanges between young people from the various Euro-Mediterranean countries through a pilot programme such as "Erasmus", identifying strategies to facilitate mobility while respecting safety.
Another priority objective of the Federation is to carry out initiatives in concert with the main cities to activate places for and dialogue, supporting any action aimed at identifying, every three years, a "Mediterranean Capital of Dialogue", in the same way as the "European Capitals of Culture".
Most of the Federation's members were founders, in 2004, of the Italian Network of the "Anna Lindh Foundation" and represent, as a group of networks, more than 600 organizations that, in fact, share the aims of the Federation. Their activities, characterized by concreteness and usefulness for the common good and for the real needs of individuals, have been recognized with Official Resolutions by States, Regions and Institutions of the main Euro-Mediterranean Countries officially representing over 400,000,000 citizens.
