The Federazione Anna Lindh Italia, not-for-profit, shares the aims of the Anna Lindh Foundation: created in 2004 by the European Commission together with the 42 Euro-Mediterranean countries.
The Federation's objective is to promote, support and implement the cultural and social interaction between Italy and the Euro-Mediterranean countries in various fields of action including: art, architecture, archaeology, environment, crafts, youth, women, human rights, migrants, crafts, employment, training, education, education, childhood, sports, interreligious dialogue, legality, music, food culture, empowerment, tradition, tourism, social solidarity, exchanges.
In particular, the Federation intends to implement initiatives in favour of young people, especially aimed at restoring their hope and confidence through the promotion of the "true",the "beautiful" and the "good”.

At the conclusion of the events for the presentation of the "IMAP" project, the participants participated in the "Migrantour NEL VENTRE DI NAPOLI".

The project "IMAP - MAPPATURA DELLA CITTÀ" was organized at the premises of the Fondazione Mediterraneo - in connection with Palermo - with the co-financing of the Anna Lindh Foundation.
The leader of the action is the CEIPES of Palermo and among the partners are the association Grammelot, Informagiovani, Comeunamarea and Fondazione Mediterraneo.
On this occasion, the round table on "Intercultural Naples at Map" was held.
The City of Palermo is present at the initiative: the Councilor for Social Citizenship Agnese Ciulla and the Councilor for Participation and Migration Giusto Catania spoke about active collaboration between the political world and the territorial reality, the welcome and the enhancement of multiculturalism.
The local IMAP partners: Palermo, Uniamoci Onlus, InformaGiovani and EURO G. participated in Palermo.
The program of the day was developed at the round table, in the visit to the Museum of Peace - MAMT, in the ethnic breakfast at the Pizzeria del Museo, in the "Da Tina" (Spanish Quarter), in the "Migrantour" (Piazza Mercato) and in the artistic event at the didon Calabria (Via S.Maria Avvocata in Forio).

The second edition of the Forum MED - Mediterranean Dialogues, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ISPI (Institute for International Political Studies), was closed today in Rome.
Common security, the fight against terrorism, the future of the Middle East with a special focus on Syria and Libya, immigration, energy, growth, the role of women and young people in reviving the economy are some of the key issues of the three-day debate which has made Rome - and this important meeting - a true "hub" of strategic reflection on the Mediterranean: not only a region of conflict and crisis but a space full of potential to work on building a positive agenda, which is leave behind a widespread pessimism and go back to centralizing the region in an ever-changing international scenario.
Over 40 Heads of State, Ministers and Leaders of International Organizations and 500 leaders in the world of politics, economics and finance, 80 think tanks and international institutions, as well as scholars and experts from around 55 countries: a massive participation has given the measure of a strong, shared and sustained international project.
