The high profil event about religious tolerance and reconciliation took place in the UN Building in NYC. The meeting was sponsored by the President of General Assembly Sam Kutesa and the General Secretary, Ban Ki-moon, Nassir Abdelaziz Al-Nasser, High Exponent of Alliance of Civilization (UNAoC).

Joined to the event, which lasted two days, high profile exponents from Islam, Christian, Protestant and Orthodox churches and Judaism, Sikh, Hinduism and Buddhism. Joined to the event also exponents from Panama, Jordan, Turkey, Iraq and Mali.
In total, 55 members, included Italy, joined to the debate. The opening day, dedicated to the debate between member States, faced the problem of strategy focused on the contrast to violence. In the opening of the meeting, held in the Hall of General Assembly, the PGA Sam Kutesa, talked about the last international events, characterized by crimes due to religious reasons. For Kutesa, during the year dedicated to the Agenda for Sustainable Development, the international community must focuses on the socio- economical causes of the phenomenon in order to prevent a further growth.

Ban Ki Moon affirmed that Boko Haram, Daesh, Al-Shaabab are exponents of a new generation of terrorists who uses in a media way the errors made by the Governs in the realisation of non inclusive politics.

Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly (APM) –which gathers together 28 Countries of the Mediterranean area- and  Fondazione Mediterraneo (FM) supported and joined the 2015 edition of “Energymed”. APM General Secretary, Sergio Piazzi, and FM President, Michele Capasso, - at the end of the events of 10 April 2015 –expressed both their awareness that the ethical usage of energy sources and their being renewable is one of the crucial elements of social equilibrium and the consequent peace and political stability.

Fondazione Mediterraneo and RIDE –Italian Network for Euro Mediterranean Dialogue, joined the International Meeting dedicated to energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in Mediterranean, being aware of how much these topics are important in the social peace process and  intercultural dialogue.

The meeting between Italian Network FAL and Ambassador Hatem Atallah, new executive director of Anna Lindh Foundation took place in Farnesina. Aim of the meeting was examining the most important issues to Italian Network, with the goal of keep going with the events of ten years anniversary and make real the Italian proposal to host a FAL research centre which can also be used as meeting center for the Foudation’s Consultative Board. The Ambassador Atallah, along with Paul Walton, was welcomed by Min.Pl. Enrico Granara and RIDE Hon. President Michele Capasso.
