The Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Anna Lindh Italy Federation participated in the international prayer meeting for peace on the theme "No one is saved alone. Peace and fraternity ", promoted by the Community of Sant’Egidio.
On this occasion the "Appeal for peace" was signed by the participants.
President Michele Capasso, on the eve of the thirtieth anniversary of the Fondazione Mediterraneo, stressed "the importance of the meeting because precisely in this difficult moment due to the pandemic, it is essential to reaffirm the spirit of fraternity and union by considering us all together as brothers and sisters".

The "Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in the world" with the "Fondazione Mediterraneo" and the "National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise" commemorated Sister Maria Pia Giudici by placing a commemorative plaque in the Rifugio della Difesa where, for the last 15 years, Sister Maria Pia Judges with other Daughters of Mary Help of Christians stayed and wrote memorable pages in defense of nature and for the protection of the environment.
The president Capasso, moved, retraced the main stages of Sister Maria Pia's stays in the Park: meetings with young people from various countries, seminars on interreligious dialogue, outdoor Holy Masses and many other initiatives that have made these places a reference point for visitors from various countries.
On this occasion the film "MARIA PIA GIUDICI, JOY IN A SIMPLE LIFE" by Michele Capasso was screened.
