| At a meeting with the European Commissioner for Enlargement Štefan Füle, President Capasso donated a book on the Italian ALF Network and at the same time expressed his hope for greater involvement of Civil Society in European programmes. Accompanied by a civil servant from the European Commission Thomas Mc-Grath, Commissioner Štefan Füle spoke of his appreciation for the Fondazione Mediterraneo’s twenty years of activities – especially for its quality, transparency and results achieved in leading European projects - in addition to his personal acknowledgement of the commitment of its President Michele Capasso whose foresight and vision are amply testified to in his book “La Grande Méditerranée”. |  |
