The Mediterranean Foundation's commitment to the Covid 19 vaccine continues. After various initiatives in various countries - including the Appeal for the cooperation of all - the Mediterranean Foundation has re-launched an appeal together with the World Health Organization in order to quickly reach a "universal vaccine" available to all, especially poor countries.
An appeal that all States should listen to in order to implement what is stated in it: the lives of hundreds of thousands of men and women around the world are at stake.

On 11 May, the "Cámara de Comercio Sevilla" brought together some of the most important Sevillian institutions and companies related to tourism and gastronomy in an event where the Declaration of the "Mediterranean Diet" was presented and some companies were awarded for defend, promote and preserve the values ​​of the #MediterraneanDiet.
With this ceremony, “Cámara de Comercio Sevilla” shows its interest in promoting the gastronomy of Seville and its province as a fundamental part of the economic and commercial development of the region. The goal is to enhance the "Mediterranean Diet" as an essential element of gastronomy and its impact on economic sectors such as agriculture, tourism, health, culture, rural development and sustainability.
President Michele Capasso underlined the importance of the MD.net project - coordinated by the Campania Region - and supported the importance of the "Mediterranean Diet" as a resource for the UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD and for all humanity.
On this occasion, from the Museum of Peace - MAMT, the emotional video "THE MEDITRANIAN HERITAGE OF HUMANITY", conceived and directed by Michele Capasso, was previewed.

THE FOUNDATION CELEBRATES AT THE MUSEUM OF PEACE - MAMT THE DAY OF MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF TERRORISM AND STRAGGES

Also this year, with no events in attendance due to Covid 19, the Foundation with its networks organized by the Museum of Peace - MAMT direct with various institutions to remember the victims of terrorism and massacres, opening the web platform to emotional paths dedicated to Museum in the "Memories" section.
President Michele Capasso recalled the 43rd anniversary of the assassination of Aldo Moro, a day that since 2007 coincides precisely with the “Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Terrorism and Massacres”.
"The tragedy to which the country woke up on the morning of the discovery of the lifeless body of Aldo Moro, inside a red Renault 4 parked in Via Caetani in Rome, will remain indelible in the history of Italy", says the president Capasso, speaking to young students connected via the web.
Among the commemorations proposed on the multimedia platforms of the Museum, that of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella who placed a wreath of flowers under the tombstone of Aldo Moro, in via Caetani. And then again the commemorations in the Senate with the interventions of Presidents Casellati and Fico.
