The Fondazione Mediterraneo has hosted the "EVS TRAINSERS FORUM" in the Museum of Peace - MAMT: a high-level meeting between the trainers of the "European Civil Service" (Erasmus +) organized by the National Agency for Youth.
Welcomed by President Michele Capasso, the director of the Museum Pia Molinari and the Director General of the National Agency for Young People dr. Giacomo D'Arrigo the delegates of over 35 Mediterranean Euro countries were distributed in the various floors and in the various rooms of the Museum using high technology and multimedia systems to better finalize the training activities.
On this occasion they visited the Museum and signed the Kimiyya Manifesto, appreciating the "Totem of Peace" by the Molinari sculptor that the Foundation is spreading all over the world.

The Minister of Cultural Heritage and Tourism Dario Franceschini visited the Fondazione Mediterraneo with the President Michele Capasso, Pia Molinari and other members of the institution.
On the eve of the 30th anniversary of the birth, the Minister expressed admiration for the quality of the work done and for the many initiatives aimed at promoting culture, dialogue and peace in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
President Capasso has reiterated the Minister who already took part in the celebrations for the Foundation's 25th anniversary (2014).
After the signing of the honor register, President Capasso donated to the Minister Franceschini some publications of the Foundation and a grant made by Syrian mothers in memory of the innocent victims of the war in Syria.

The members of the Italian parliament Stefania Covello and Assunta Tartaglione, during the visit to the Fondazione Mediterraneo and to the "Documentation Center of the Anna Lindh Foundation", expressed appreciation for the activity carried out, in particular for the interventions of "Kimiyya" by signing the manifesto produced by the participants in September 2017 in defense of women's rights.

The exhibit 'Algeria infinite land - Nomadism of heart and thought' will open on March 2 (the inauguration is at 4:30 pm) until March 26 at Naples' Castel dell'Ovo. Curated by Giuseppe Ussani d'Escobar, the show is organized by the Algerian embassy in Italy and by Sphaerica Srl in cooperation with the city's councilor for culture and tourism and under the municipality's patronage.
In a symbolic place for Naples, tied to Virgil and the legend of an egg in its basement, Khaled Abdallah, Brahim Achir, Ahmed Bekhokha, Nadjia Chekoufi, Amor Dekhis, Abdelkader Houamel, Mohamed Rouhani, Smail Zizi, and Anna Shamira Minozzi, the only Italian artist, will describe ''through shapes and images, their thoughts and heart, two lands that have always been close in artistic language and history'', curators said.
