The seminar dedicated to Design in the World was held at the Museum of Peace - MAMT, organized by the Order of Architects P. P. C. Foundation of Naples and province, by the Order of Architects of Naples and its province in collaboration with the Fondazione Mediterraneo.
Among the speakers were Lorenzo Capobianco, Sergio Pone, Renato Fontana, Giovanna Talocci, Loredana De Luca, Maria D' Elia, Sofia Tufano.

THE FOUNDATION AND THE MUSEUM OF PEACE REMEMBER NICOLA PAGLIARA

Deeply moved by the demise of the "Master of Life and University", President Michele Capasso recalled the human and professional figure of Man, Architect and Urban planner.
With Nicola, the irony, the sense of the ephemeral disappears, the pure creativity that is combined with the concrete needs that architectural and urban planning requires: from today without his voice and his presence we will all be more alone ".
These are the touched words of his colleague, disciple and friend who proposed to remember with a thematic day at the Museum of Peace the work, figure and teaching of Nicola Pagliara.

BY EGI, FRIENDS SINCE EVER!

Egi Volterrani - architect, writer, set designer, journalist, cook and much more - left us shortly before his 80th birthday.
He was one of the founders - with Predrag Matvejevic', Igor Man, Claudio Magris, Gerardo Marotta, Nedim Gursel, Khaled Fouad Allam and many others - of the Fondazione Mediterraneo in the early 1990s.
Ironical, autoironic, cultured, lazy: many adjectives that can never describe Our Dear Egi.
We remember this with the video testimony on our friend Mario Molinari when the city of Turin dedicated a plaque to the sculptor of colour: even then Egi asked for a chair in the hall of the palace to better articulate words and emotions.

THE ITALIAN NETWORK OF THE ANNA LINDH FOUNDATION, PROTAGONIST AT THE BIENNIAL OF YOUNG ARTISTS FROM EUROPE AND THE MEDITERRANEAN

Great synergy and collaboration between members of the Italian Network who participated in "Mediterranea 18 Young Artists Biennale" which ends today in Tirana.
From the leader "Fondazione Mediterraneo" to "ARCI", from "Teatrokoreja" to "Accademia del Mediterraneo": choral and synergistic participation with many events including the installations selected by ARCI under the coordination of Carlo Testini.
A splendid performance of "TeatroKoreja" by "KATER I RADES. IL NAUFRAGIO", which involved young artists from many countries on the theme of migration.

THE TOTEM OF THE PEACE OF MOLINARI, SYMBOL OF THE "YOUNG PEOPLE IN COLOUR"

The "Totem for Peace" of Mario Molinari - which the Fondazione Mediterraneo is spreading throughout the world - becomes the symbol of "young people in colour": of all those who wish to abandon the greyness of life and devote themselves to real values that find creativity as a fundamental pillar.
The monumental work of the Turin artist will soon be realized in Tirana.

The events organized by political parties and civil society bodies hosted in the Museum of Peace - MAMT continue, in the spirit of inclusion and collaboration that the Fondazione Mediterraneo has been pursuing for over 25 years.
After the conference of "Energie per l' Italia","NACA","Ordine degli Architetti di Napoli","Associazione pro-migranti" and "Essere Sinistra" is the turn of "Forza Italia" on the theme of welfare, social services and solidarity. This was discussed by Severino Nappi - regional councillor - Mara Carfagna - parliamentarian and national spokesman - and other specialists coordinated by Corriere del Mezzogiorno director Enzo D' Errico.

THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF ALBANIA CRIED OUT "LIVING FREEDOM"

Among the initiatives of the Fondazione Mediterraneo is that of transmitting the memory of emotions to young Albanian children, such as, for example, a visit to BUNK ART where the recent history of Albania is testified and in particular that of the dark period of the dictatorship that lasted until the beginning of the 1990s of the last century.
The boys between 15 and 16 years old at the end of the visit and meeting with President Capasso shouted a single word: LIVE FREEDOM!
