The president of the Rotary Parioli of Rome, lawyer Mario Spatafora, accompanied by club members spent a day at the Museum delivering the pennant of the Roman club and proposing a collaboration to invite all members of the Italian Rotary to visit what has been defined as "museum of emotions and wonders".
UPS: INAUGURATION OF THE 2017-2018 ACADEMIC YEAR

On Thursday 12 October, the inaugural ceremony of the 2017-2018 academic year of the Salesian Pontifical University (Member of the Italian FAL Network) was held in the presence of numerous religious, civil and military authorities. The day was marked by the theme "Listening and walking". A true listening, always sets in motion and pushes us to take or resume our journey - from the homily of the Grand Chancellor of UPS, Don ÁngelFernándezArtime, the Rector Major of the Salesians, who presided over the Eucharistic celebration.
The academic part of the day was introduced by the Report of the Magnificent Rector, Don Mauro Mantovani, who, after thanking those present, explained the situation of UPS in its evaluation framework of last academic year and outlining some lines of perspective for the near future.
One of the most intense moments of the day was the Prolusion of the proff. Luigi Bruni and Alessandra Smerilli entitled "Listening and walking. Educating ourselves and educating ourselves to new lifestyles ", some passages - ... The economic models that have guided us are no longer viable, we have been bad custodians of the common house and unsustainable behaviours have produced pollution, degradation, poverty and social inequalities... The common good needs a more humble, sober, sustainable, more beautiful, more sympathetic and more communal economy. She needs' sister economics -.
The prolusion was followed by a musical space presented by four students from the Faculty of Educational Sciences, the warm applause showed a particular appreciation by all those present.
After the award ceremony of the most deserving students, the Grand Chancellor of UPS, Don ÁngelFernándezArtime, the Rector Major of the Salesians, officially opened the Academic Year 2017-2018.

In the presence of the General Secretary of the FMA, Sister Piera Cavaglià and other sisters representing the council of the General House, the ceremony for the 40th anniversary of the foundation and the "House of Prayer FMA"was held.
On this occasion the founder, Sister Maria Pia Giudici, held a "Lectio" on the theme of "DISCERNMENT" which will characterize the year of meetings in San Biagio.
Present the "Sanbiagini" coming from all over the world.

Great feast in San Biagio for the 95th birthday of Sister Maria Pia Giudici, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the Foundation of the House of Prayer of the Daughters of Mary Ausiliatrice (FMA - Salesians). Many are the "Sanbiagini" coming from all over the world who celebrated Sister Maria Pia.
General Secretary Sister Piera Cavaglià was present for the FMA Generalate.
On this occasion, the film "Maria Pia Giudici" was screened. Joy in a simple life" by Michele Capasso: the latter expressed his emotion and bond with S. Maria Pia.

On the occasion 95th birthday of sister Maria Pia Giudici and the 40th anniversary of the foundation of the "Casa di preghiera di San Biagio", the film of Michele Capasso "Maria Pia Giudici.Joy in a simple life" was presented.
Many are the praise for the "docufilm" that retraces the life of Sister Maria Pia: among all that of the Secretary General of the General House of the "Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice", Sister Piera Cavaglià.

In the prestigious headquarters of Palazzo Donn' Anna of the "Ezio De Felice Cultural Foundation", a seminar dedicated to the Museums of Naples was held on the occasion of the "European Heritage Days".
On this occasion the President of the Fondazione Mediterraneo Prof. Michele Capasso presented the Museum of Peace - MAMT and the emotional video on "Naples".
Many members of the Italian FAL Network were present, including Prof. Massimo Pica Ciamarra and Prof. Luciana De Rosa.

Among the speeches were by Prof. Carmine Nardone, Prof. Marco Rossi Doria, Mr. Gianni Pittella and Mr. Umberto del Basso De Caro (secretary for infrastructure and transport). Ms Fulvio Bonavitacola, Vice-President of the Campania Region.
