Federation Anna Lindh Italia || Onlus

 

The Federazione Anna Lindh Italia, not-for-profit, shares the aims of the Anna Lindh Foundation: created in 2004 by the European Commission together with the 42 Euro-Mediterranean countries.
The Federation's objective is to promote, support and implement the cultural and social interaction between Italy and the Euro-Mediterranean countries in various fields of action including: art, architecture, archaeology, environment, crafts, youth, women, human rights, migrants, crafts, employment, training, education, education, childhood, sports, interreligious dialogue, legality, music, food culture, empowerment, tradition, tourism, social solidarity, exchanges.
In particular, the Federation intends to implement initiatives in favour of young people, especially aimed at restoring their hope and confidence through the promotion of the "true",the "beautiful" and the "good”

During a meeting, President Michele Capasso illustrated to Bruno Vespa the project of the United States of the world born in 1990 from an intuition of Gustavo Rol.
On this occasion, President Capasso recalled the intervention of Gustavo Rol on a "Sunday in" in 1987, with Franco Zeffirelli present: on that occasion there was a heartfelt appeal to young people for the UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD

The Fondazione Mediterraneo participated in the international conference organized by the ISPI webinar. On this occasion, President Michele Capasso recalled the actions of the Fondazione Mediterraneo in favor of Algeria since 1995 and the thematic forums dedicated to the Mediterranean country: an action recognized by Algerian leaders.
In particular, the visit of the then Algerian Foreign Minister Bedjaoui to the headquarters of the Fondazione Mediterraneo was highlighted.

On 11 May, the "Cámara de Comercio Sevilla" brought together some of the most important Sevillian institutions and companies related to tourism and gastronomy in an event where the Declaration of the "Mediterranean Diet" was presented and some companies were awarded for defend, promote and preserve the values ​​of the #MediterraneanDiet.
With this ceremony, “Cámara de Comercio Sevilla” shows its interest in promoting the gastronomy of Seville and its province as a fundamental part of the economic and commercial development of the region. The goal is to enhance the "Mediterranean Diet" as an essential element of gastronomy and its impact on economic sectors such as agriculture, tourism, health, culture, rural development and sustainability.
President Michele Capasso underlined the importance of the MD.net project - coordinated by the Campania Region - and supported the importance of the "Mediterranean Diet" as a resource for the UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD and for all humanity.
On this occasion, from the Museum of Peace - MAMT, the emotional video "THE MEDITRANIAN HERITAGE OF HUMANITY", conceived and directed by Michele Capasso, was previewed

The Mediterranean Foundation's commitment to the Covid 19 vaccine continues. After various initiatives in various countries - including the Appeal for the cooperation of all - the Mediterranean Foundation has re-launched an appeal together with the World Health Organization in order to quickly reach a "universal vaccine" available to all, especially poor countries.
An appeal that all States should listen to in order to implement what is stated in it: the lives of hundreds of thousands of men and women around the world are at stake.
