Federation Anna Lindh Italia || Onlus

 

The Federazione Anna Lindh Italia, not-for-profit, shares the aims of the Anna Lindh Foundation: created in 2004 by the European Commission together with the 42 Euro-Mediterranean countries.
The Federation's objective is to promote, support and implement the cultural and social interaction between Italy and the Euro-Mediterranean countries in various fields of action including: art, architecture, archaeology, environment, crafts, youth, women, human rights, migrants, crafts, employment, training, education, education, childhood, sports, interreligious dialogue, legality, music, food culture, empowerment, tradition, tourism, social solidarity, exchanges.
In particular, the Federation intends to implement initiatives in favour of young people, especially aimed at restoring their hope and confidence through the promotion of the "true",the "beautiful" and the "good”

The Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Anna Lindh Italia Federation participated in the events of the second edition of "Pescasseroli legge" with the artistic direction of Dacia Maraini.
The books presented include those by
Vincenzo Paglia, Marcello Fois, Paola Di Nicola, Antonio Padellaro, Nadia Terranova and Michela Murgia.

An important day at the Museum of Peace - MAMT to remember Giovanni Falcone on the 80th anniversary of his birth.
Many participants and testimonies: among these, those of General Pasquale Angelosanto, commander of the Carabinieri - ROS; of the parliamentarians Giuseppe Lumìa, Mario Giarrusso, Piera Aiello; of the magistrates Catello Maresca and Cesare Sirignano; of journalists Francesco Borrelli and Dania Mondini; of the president of the Caponnetto Foundation Salvatore Calleri and of Nilla Manzi Tavazza, Annella Prisco, Giuseppe Antoci and many others.
Many school students have retraced the main stages of Giovanni Falcone's life through the emotional paths and videos kept in the Museum.
The "Federazione Anna Lindh Italia Onlus " joined the day with the participation of multiple members.

The Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Caponnetto Foundation organized the 1st Summit on the theme "The United States of Europe".
The event takes place on the occasion of the thirty-year anniversary of the Fondazione Mediterraneo and on the eve of the WORLD PEACE FORUM.
Among the speeches were those by Senator Lumia, Presidents Capasso and Calleri and by dr. Antoci.
On this occasion - in connection with 12 European countries - the problems concerning the United States of Europe were analyzed and a series of resolutions were proposed, essentially concerning the need to promote high education for the European ruling classes.
At the end of the Summit the participants went to the Churchill Room of the Peace Museum - MAMT where President Calleri read Zurich's speech on the need for the "United States of Europe".
President Capasso underlined the commitment of the Fondazione Mediterraneo on the same issue since 1989 and the timeliness of the manifesto presented on that occasion.
The event was held in collaboration with the "Maison des Alliances" and the "Anna Lindh Italia Onlus Federation".

The Peace Museum - MAMT has hosted a conference of the Christian Workers Movement on the theme "Yes to Europe, to do it".
Domenico Delle Foglie has moderated the debate.
Among the presentations are those by Michele Cutolo, Michele Rosboch, Doriana Buonavita, Arturo de Vivo, Severino Nappi.
The meeting was attended by members of the Anna Lindh Italy Federation.
