Exhibitions

Since the beginning Fondazione Mediterraneo payed attention to the promotion of cultural dialogue among Euro-Mediterranean Countries, in particular to all those artistic forms that become instrument for dialogue: music, cinema, painting, sculpture, photography, literature and poetry.

In particular, during the years, the Fondazione promoted one of the most important painting exhibition from the Islamic World titled 
"Breaking the Veils: Women Artists from the Islamic World".

Fondazioone Mediterraneo collaborated with the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts in the organization and promotion of the exhibition in Milan, Rome, Padova, Naples, Barcelona, Ourense, Keszthely and Latina.

At the 15th Edition of the Epiphany Concert, held this 4th January at the Teatro Mediterraneo in Naples, the Fondazione Mediterraneo granted the 2012 Mediterranean Award for Art and Creativity to Antonio Borrelli .
The artist expressed his appreciation for the Award as well as his personal admiration for the activities of the Fondazione to promote art over the years.

The Award was presented by President Michele Capasso and the Prefect of Naples, Andrea De Martino.

The Molinari Totem for Peace installed at the French Headquarters of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Bank

The Monte dei Paschi di Siena Bank has installed the Totem for Peace by sculptor, Mario Molinari, at its French Headquarters in Paris. This sculpture is being disseminated throughout the world as a symbol of universal peace by the Fondazione.
