THE "FONDAZIONE MEDITERRANEO" AND THE "FONDAZIONE EUROPA MEZZOGIORNO MEDITERRANEO" RESUME THE COMMON INITIATIVES

During a meeting at the headquarters of the Fondazione Mediterraneo, the president Michele Capasso met the president of the "Fondazione Europa Mezzogiorno Mediterraneo" Mario Oliverio, accompanied by Adriana Toman and a delegation.
On this occasion, the main stages of the collaboration between the two Foundations since 2005 have been retraced and a calendar of initiatives to be implemented has been prepared.
These include the videos "Calabria of emotions" (an integral part of the Peace Museum - MAMT), the construction of the monumental work "Totem for Peace" in Calabria, seminars and events on dialogue or after the pandemic and other initiatives.

THE FOUNDATION TAKES PART IN A SEMINAR OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE ON CYBER CRIME AT THE TIME OF COVID 19

President Michele Capasso participated in the seminar moderated by François Delerue, Cyber defense and international law researcher at the Strategic Research Institute of the Ecole Militaire, France.

The Fondazione Mediterraneo has supported in Naples, Rome and other cities the "national demonstration" entitled "Freedom and justice for Palestine", against the annexation of the occupied Palestinian territories by Israel and for the recognition of two peoples (Israelis and Palestinians) in two states (Israel and Palestine).
Since its foundation in 1990, the Foundation has supported the Palestinian cause with numerous initiatives and meetings: Arafat and Abu Mazen's visits to the Foundation, conferences, appeals, seminars and many initiatives such as the one in 2002 were mentioned as an example. giant flag of Palestine open a procession from the Foundation's headquarters in Naples.

President Michele Capasso with a delegation from the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Museum of Peace - MAMT met - in full respect of the safety and outdoor rules - some parliamentarians (deputies and senators) presenters of the parliamentary question of September 2019 for the defense of the Naples branch of the Museum of Peace - MAMT.

The Fondazione Mediterraneo participated in an international seminar held by webinair experts from 26 countries: the evaluation of the crisis management by COVID 19 in various countries was the subject.
President Capasso highlighted the seriousness of the pandemic but also the opportunity to re-establish a new value system based on solidarity, respect for creation and competence.
"Concrete" and "Vision" are the two pillars - according to Capasso - on which to base a new humanity based on planning and organizational skills aimed exclusively at the common good.
