RIDE – Italian Network for Euromediterranean Dialogue and Italian Network for Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) – achieved consensus of Consultative Board of ALF and its president André Azoulay which praised it as an "exemple of good practice”.

American environmentalist Tom Fox visited in preview MAMT –Mediterranean Museum for Arts, Music and Traditions, praising this important initiative by Fondazione Mediterraneo.
He was particular impressed by the section dedicated to Raffaele Capasso and his example of politician voted to the Common Good and his population: “A rare case in a world based only upon money and particular interests” he declared.

Fondazione Mediterraneo hosted in his headquarters and in its MAMT museum spoke people from all over the world whom come to Naples to join to the “9° European Meeting of Community Psichology”. An important moment of meeting and confrontation, in the tradition of Fondazione Mediterraneo which for 20 years fosters dialogue and exchange between cultures and civilizations.

Took place in Lisbon, under the presidency of André Azoulay, Anna Lindh Foundation Consultative Assembly (ALF).
The discussed topics were Foundation and its activities for the next ten years. The president Michele Capasso in his intervention highlighted the RIDE’s as model of good practices and talked about the necessity to give to ALF its institutional dignity, and proposed to held in Naples in occasion of EU Italian Semester Presidency (2014), an important event in occasion of tenth Alf anniversary. The Consultative Assembly supported this proposal.

From more than sixty years, on mandate of United Nations General Assembly, UNRWA – ONU agency for Palestinian refugees assistance – provides humanitarian help, basic services and economical opportunities to millions of people coming from Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, along with occupied Palestinian Territories. In occasion of the Italian visit of UNRWA General Commissioner Filippo Grandi, the Deputies Chamber promotes a meeting on the Agency’s activities and Palestinian people’s life conditions in medio oriental regions. Fondazione Mediterraneo joins to the meeting.

The Ellenika operation showed the existence of international narcomafia groups working together.
In particular Albanians, Serbians and Italians. Three levels: Albanians engaged in trafficking, Serbians whom are working as carriers and Italians in Pescara whom are selling the drugs. Also Bosnia is engaged. Heroine come from Afghanistan.

Took place in San Marino the 3° Antimafia Summit, with the participation –among others – of State Secretary Gian Carlo Venturini and Giuseppe Maria Morganti, Italian Ambassador in San Marino Republic Barbara Bregato, of Senator Mario Michele Giarrusso, Member of Antimafia Parliamentar Commission , Senator Lorenzo Diana, League of Legality, Salvatore Calleri, president of Caponnetto Foundation, Domenico Bilotta, Caponnetto Foundation National Responsible for School, Michele Capasso, president of Fondazione Mediterraneo. The last one, during his speech, not only dealt with the mafia problem, but also about foreign policy: “There are no more big statesmen as were in the past and this is the most important reason because there is brutality based on illegality.” Still, I’ll tell to youngs that this is the time to dare, to be peace makers. The challenge is everyone has the power of his life in his hands. San Marino’s role is important: you are a small Republic, talking about physical dimensions of your state, but for your History you are great.” From this point starting the relaunch of a project which could comport youth exchange all over the world, from needy areas from Italy, Europe and all over the world in order to bring their visible experience. San Marino’s history will be part of “MAMT – Mediterrean Museum of Arts, Music and Traditions” established by Fondazione Mediterraneo which will open by the end of the year.
