XIITH MEETING OF THE HEADS OF ALF NATIONAL NETWORKS

From 21-24 November 2013, the XIIth Meeting of Heads of the ALF National Networks was held in Vilnius. As Head of the Italian Network, President Capasso participated for the Fondazione Mediterraneo while Elisa Adornopresented the Istituto Paralleli del Nord Ovest
At this event, the following themes were discussed.
- Objectives and Strategies 2014-2015
- Budget 2014
- Development of Networks
- The ALF+ 10 events in Naples
Among others, the members discussed the Arab Spring and the role that the National Networks can play. President Michele Capasso suggested developing joint actions to valorize immigrants to give greater visibility to young people on the south shore of the Mediterranean and events in Naples ALF+10.

MEETING OF THE PRESDENCY OF THE PANEL OF THE EUROMED AWARD FOR DIALOGUE AMONG CULTURES

The Panel for the Euromed Award for dialogue among cultures met to decide the theme for 2014. The composition of 2013: the Fondazione Mediterraneo, Anna Lindh Foundation, Bosnia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Gran Britain, the Lebanon, Mauritania and Libya.

MAMT hosts a section dedicated to Mediterranean Architecture, and in particular are collected, among others, artworks by Vittorio Di Pace, Nicola Pagliara, Alvaro Siza and studio Pica Ciamarra Associati with Christian Leperino’s interpretation.

CULTURES FORUM 2013 PRESENTATION

It has been presented the 2013 Cultures Forum of Naples City, at the presence of Naples’s Major De Magistris, Campania region governor and Caldoro and Xavier Trias, Barcelona former major during the Spanish forum. The event took place in San Carlo Theater. Fondazione Mediterraneo has been one of the sponsor of Cultures Forum and wishes to give its contribuition, even in this short edition.
