CELEBRATED THE TEN YEAR OF THE TRICOLOR TOTEM FOR PEACE IN TURIN, WHICH TODAY REPRESENTS THE UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD

In compliance with Covid 19 rules, the celebrations for the tenth anniversary of the creation of the tricolor Totem of Peace, inaugurated in Turin on May 4, 2011 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy with the president, took place in Turin and Naples of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano.
President Capasso, with links and webinars from the Museum of Peace - MAMT, retraced the history of the TOTEM OF PEACE which today represents the UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD born from an intuition of Gustavo Rol.

The Fondazione Mediterraneo participated in the commemorative webinar of Luciano Tavazza on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of his death. In a message to Domenico De Simone - president of the Tavazza Association - president Michele Capasso underlined the relevance of Luciano Tavazza's example of solidarity, especially in this difficult moment for all humanity.

During a meeting with the Bishop of Vallo della Lucania SER Monsignor Ciro Miniero, President Michele Capasso re-proposed from Cilento the “TOTEM OF PEACE” by the sculptor Mario Molinari, declared a “symbol” of the UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD.
Bishop Miniero shared the high value of the symbol, recalled the full support of his predecessor SER Mons. Giuseppe Rocco Favale (in 2010, for the Totem of Peace in Rutino) and thanked him for having chosen Cilento again as the region of " restart "of the" Totem of Peace "as a symbol of the" UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD", born in 1990 from an intuition of Gustavo Rol.

During a meeting with the president of the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburni Tommaso Pellegrino, and with the Bishop of Vallo della Lucania Mons. Ciro Miniero, the president Michele Capasso re-proposed from Cilento the "TOTEM OF PEACE" of sculptor Mario Molinari, recently declared "symbol" of the UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD, born in 1990 from an intuition of Gustavo Rol.
President Pellegrino and Bishop Miniero shared the high value of the symbol and thanked them for choosing Cilento as the "restart" region of the "Totem of Peace" as a symbol of the "UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD".
On this occasion, President Pellegrino proposed that the monumental work be carried out in the Villa Matarazzo in Santa Maria di Castellabate and congratulated the sharing of the project with the Diocese of Vallo della Lucania, a town where the Parco del Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni.
President Capasso symbolically launched the TOTEM OF PEACE in the sea of Santa Maria di Castellabate, as the beginning of a new journey for peace and solidarity in the UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD.

On the occasion of the shooting of the emotional videos "CILENTO EMOZIONI SENZA TEMPO" - included in the "LA CAMPANIA DELLE EMOZIONI" program co-financed by the Campania Region - President Michele Capasso relaunched the "APPEAL FOR THE UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD" from the archaeological site of Velia , proposed in 1990 by an intuition of Gustavo Rol, having as an example important experiences such as the philosophical school of Elea-Velia with Parmenide and Zenone.
The shooting involved the archaeological site with the most significant places: from the Porta Rosa to the theater. Francesco Scelza illustrated the high significance of the city of Velia: both in the past and today, in the broader context of the United States of the World born from an intuition of Gustavo Rol.

During a meeting with the Bishop of Vallo della Lucania HE Monsignor Ciro Miniero, President Michele Capasso presented the "UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD" project, proposed in 1990 by the Fondazione Mediterraneo from an intuition of Gustavo Rol.
In conclusion, it was agreed to involve primary and secondary school students - starting this summer and with the support of the Ministry of Education - to sensitize them on the importance and necessity of the UNITED STATES DL WORLD: for the salvation of creation and humanity.

On the occasion of the shooting of the emotional videos "CILENTO EMOZIONI SENZA TEMPO" and "THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET HERITAGE OF HUMANITY" - included in the "LA CAMPANIA DELLE EMOZIONI" program co-financed by the Campania Region - the Secretary General Michele Capasso relaunched the " APPEAL FOR THE UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD ”, proposed in 1990 right in the Cilento village - where Giambattista Vico lived for a long time - from an intuition of Gustavo Rol.
On this occasion, the "Onion Association of Vatolla" has set up a table with the main organic products and the famous onion known throughout the world.
Secretary General Capasso awarded the Cilento women with the certificates of "Standard Bearers of the United States of the World".

The Foundation participated in the international conference. President Capasso recalled the ancient friendship and customs with the Hashemite Kingdom, where the Foundation has a seat.
Compared to its turbulent neighbours like Iraq, Syria and the Israeli-occupied West Bank, Jordan is generally viewed as a pocket of calm in a volatile environment and a reliable partner in the fight against extremist groups.
Over the past decades, the Hashemite Kingdom has indeed been spared from much of the political upheaval that affected other capitals in the Middle East. Last month, this solid image was interrupted by an alleged attempted coup against King Abdallah II, in power since 1999.
The Biden administration, the EU and Amman’s key international partners quickly supported the king in the spirit of regional stability, which Jordan still figures as an essential component. Nevertheless, the public unveiling of the Jordanian royal rift also shed light on the underlying structural weaknesses and vulnerabilities, not only within the ruling family. Today, substantial socio-economic woes harm this natural resource-scarce country, home to a consistent refugee population and beset by a fragile economy further amplified by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Although gone unnoticed in recent months, these tensions have occurred at a time of particular uncertainty that, combined with the latest tensions within the royal family, seriously risk undermining the much-needed process of socio-economic reforms. What does the recent dustup tell us about the kingdom’s internal political situation? Which consequences should we expect for the stability of the royal family and that of the country? What are the major factors that could impede a serious and concrete process of reforms? How long will the Jordanian society handle the current socio-economic situation? How did the international community react to the kingdom challenges? What role should Amman’s key partners play to maintain Jordan as a linchpin of stability and a key partner in the region?
