In the framework of the Common Operation of the Italian Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation Supporting Citizenship and Meeting Minorities, it took place in Ancona, at Palazzo Camerata, the third appointment of the event Mari del Dialogo e della Rivolta, organized by Provincia di Ancona, Associazione Adriatico Mediterraneo and Regione Marche, in collaboration with Terre di Tutti Film Festival - COSPE.

Took part to the Conference "Conversazione sul Mare: perché il Mediterraneo brucia": Thameur Mekki (independent journalist Tunisia), Kerim Bouzouita (journalist and cyber journalist Tunisia), Leila Chaibi (director), Enza Amici (Uniti per la Libertà - Carovana Italia Tunisia/Libia).
Jonathan Ferramola (COSPE, director of Terra di Tutti Film Festival) moderated the event.

In the framework of the Common Operation of the Italian Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation Supporting Citizenship and Meeting Minorities, it took place in Ancona the first of three appointments of the event Mari del Dialogo e della Rivolta, the live-concert "La Musica della Rivolta" performed by El General (Tunisia), organized by Provincia di Ancona, Associazione Adriatico Mediterraneo and Regione Marche, in collaboration with Terre di Tutti Film Festival - COSPE.
El Genaral, 22 y.o. from Sfax, is beloved in his Country because he has always been very critic with the political establishment. Today he is the symbol of the young revolution in Tunisia.

A big celebration for the re-election of the Mayor of Rutino Michele Voria took place under the monumental work by sculptor Mario Molinari the Totem for Peace.
Pasquale Vessa, Gaetano Amatruda, Mayors of the Cilento Park and the President of Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso also attended the celebration.

The Councillor of the Prime Minister of Morocco Driss Guerraui and the Ambassador of the Palestinian Authority to the European Union Leila Shahid went to make tribute to the Totem for Peace in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio, realized to honour the Mayor Raffaele Capasso. For the occasion there was the symbolic "passing of the baton" from San Sebastiano al Vesuvio to Rabat and Gaza where other Totems for Peace will be realized soon.

The Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe visited the seat of Fondazione Mediterraneo expressing his appreciation for the activities carried out in the last 20 years and made a public tribute to the President Michele Capasso calling him a "real man of peace".

The old Neapolitan chocolate factory GAY-ODIN - present in Italy since 1894 - has offered to the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the guests attending the ceremony for the Mediterranean Awards 2011 a basket of chocolates to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Italian Unity.

The Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, with representatives from other Countries and from the world of politics, culture and diplomacy (among them the journalist Paolo Mieli, the Councillor of the Prime Minister of Morocco Driss Guerraoui, the Ambassador of the Palestinian Authority to the European Union Leila Shahid and the President of the Province of Turin Antonio Saitta) inaugurated the Totem for Peace by sculptor Mario Molinari at the Maison de la Paix.
For the occasion the Cantori di Posillipo performed the Hymn of the Mediterranean creating a touching moment for peace and dialogue.
