AMBASSADOR OF KUWAIT IN ROME KHALID ALI AL SABAH IN VISIT TO MAMT

The Ambassador of Kuwait to Rome Khalid Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has carried out an official visit at the MAMT - Mediterranean Museum of Art, Music and Traditions.
During a meeting between the Kuwaiti diplomat with the President of the Foundation, Michael Capasso, who has been at the center of the Museum MAMT with the Director Pia Molinari and Professor Antonio Capuano, Sheikh Ali was informed about the various activities of the Museum and programs of implementation of the section devoted to the Islamic world.
Ambassador Ali has also visited the Museum of Pizza and the "Pizza of the Museum", enjoying the delicacies from prediposte '"National Association Pizzaiuoli."

A "summit of prayer," a step towards the long-awaited reconciliation. The eyes of the world are the Vatican Gardens where Pope Francesco has joined together with the presidents of Israel and Palestine, Shimon Peres and Abu Mazen, in order to invoke the end of inter-religious conflict. With them also the Orthodox Patriarch of Constantinople, Bartolomeo I. "I call upon all people of good will to join us in praying for peace in the Middle East # weprayforpeace" wrote the Pope in a tweet to ask everyone to join them in prayer. With this initiative, which raises the dialogue at a time when international diplomats are stalled, Francis carries out the project to involve faiths in peace-building, which was initiated by Pope Wojtyla and continued by Ratzinger.
An important contribution to interreligious dialogue and the role of civil society for peace between Israel and Palestine has been carried out since 1991 by the Fondazione Mediterraneo: This action has been publicly recognized by the Presidents Yasser Arafat, Shimon Peres and Mahmoud Abbas during their visits to Mediterranean Foundation: last, that of President Abu Mazen April 28, 2013.
The President Michele Capasso on the sidelines of the summit in Rome participated in prayer meetings and exchanges with Israeli and Palestinian representatives.
JOURNALISTS OF THE FOREIGN PRESS IN VISIT TO MAMT

A delegation of journalists from the foreign press, at the invitation of the appointing authority - National Association Pizzaiuoli - have visited the MAMT and the section devoted to MIP - International Museum of Bread and Pizza. They were welcomed by the President of the Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso.
Journalists, especially those of the Balkan region, expressed their appreciation for the Foundation's twenty-five action in favor of dialogue and peace.

With the theme of Social Resilience and Creativity, the Anna Lindh Foundation and the Fondazione Mediterraneo, are launching the ninth edition of the Euromed Dialogue Award in the framework of the 10th Anniversary of the Anna Lindh Foundation which will take place in Naples, Italy in October 2014.
The aim of the ALF Euro-Med Award is to recognise the achievements of individuals and organisations that have been at the forefront of promoting Intercultural Dialogue in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The winner shall receive a financial contribution of 5,000 EUR in recognition of their work for Intercultural Dialogue in the Euro-Med region and a trophy, to be delivered by the Euro-Med Award Jury in a prestigious bestowing ceremony.
Candidates for the Award can be nominated either as an individual or as an organisation and must be based in one of the member countries of the Euro-Med Partnership. Nominating organisations are requested to submit online their nomination proposals for the Award candidates before the midnight of the 30th of June 2014 (Cairo time).

During a meeting-debate at the headquarters of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, the Fondazione Mediterraneo has been shown - with Scaturchio and Gay-Odin - between the excellence of Campania in the social and the promotion of intercultural dialogue.
Was attended by the leaders of Banca MPS and personalities from the world of economics, culture and business.
During his speech, the president Capasso stressed the need to restore the right balance between ethics and solidarity economy: an indispensable role to get out of an epochal crisis that, first of all, it's "Crisis of Values."

The City of Procida, by Resolution G.M. # 98/2014 has approved the final design and contracted the construction of the monumental work "Totem of Peace" by Mario Molinari, who will be realized in the space in front of the Church of Santa Margherita New.
In the course of an inspection which took place in the presence of the Mayor of Procida Vincenzo Capezzuto, the superintendent of Naples BBAA arch. Giorgio Cozzolino, the official arch area. Paola Bovier, councilor Domenico Scala and the President of the Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso were checked places and finally started the work with the signing of the minutes.
The "Totem of Peace" - in addition to Procida assign the role of "Island of Peace" - includes the island between the great cities of the world who have made or who are making.

The President on. the RIDE, Michele Capasso, met in Palermo, the regional councilor energy Salvatore Calleri. During a meeting, were presented the excellence of RIDE with regard to the issue of green energy, waste treatment and sustainable development.
