Welcomed by President Michele Capasso and Pia Molinari, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Darko Zelenica, visited the headquarters of the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Museum of Peace.
Particular emotion during the visit to the rooms dedicated to the testimonies of the war in the former Yugoslavia and to the aid and solidarity initiatives carried out by the Foundation in those years.

Mohamed Abou El Enein and a large delegation of diplomats and journalists from the Arab Republic of Egypt, led by the Ambassador of Egypt in Italy Hisham Badr, were welcomed in the literary café of the Museum of Peace - MAMT where they tasted unique specialties of Campania.

A delegation from the city of Ottaviano led by the parish priest and Sister Anna Avenia (FMA) visited the Museum of Peace - in particular the paths dedicated to “Don Bosco, the power of love” - and paid homage to the TOTEM OF PEACE with the urn of the Unknown Migrant in the Port of Naples by placing a laurel wreath.
Present were representatives of various countries, of the Port Authority of Naples, of the Salesian Family, of the FMA Sisters and of the Anna Lindh Italia Onlus Federation.
The parish priest of Ottaviano with a representation of the religious community recited the prayer of the Migrant, shared by the Muslim representatives of the participating Campania communities with their associations to the Anna Lindh Italia Federation.

Among the excellence of Campania present at the Museum of Peace - MAMT has had great success the "mozzarella nella mortella" of the dairy "Le Starze" owned by the young Mario Di Bartolomeo.
People from all over the world - including Stefano Ricci, Egypt's Ambassador to Italy Badr and Egyptian entrepreneur and politician Mohamed Abou El Enein - have appreciated this unique product.

The ceremony of the "Mediterranean Diplomacy and Development Award 2018" awarded to MOHAMED ABOU EL ENEIN took place in Naples, at the headquarters of the Museum of Peace - MAMT.
Present a large delegation of diplomats and journalists of the Arab Republic of Egypt, led by the Ambassador of Egypt in Italy HISHAM MOHAMED MOUSTAFA BADR.
This award is an artistic work created by the sculptor MARIO MOLINARI which represents a symbol of peace and common life: among those who have already received this recognition in the Arab world the late NAJIB MAHFOUZ.
The Mediterranean Prize is internationally renowned and is supported by many international institutions.
The ceremony was attended by diplomats from various countries and members of the Fondazione Mediterraneo and of the “Federazione Anna Lindh Italia”.
AT “LA SAPIENZA” A CHAIR DEDICATED TO THE KING OF BAHREIN HAMAD

The Fondazione Mediterraneo took part in the inauguration ceremony of the Chair dedicated by the "La Sapienza" University to the "dialogue and peaceful coexistence among religions". In the aula magna of Palazzo del Rettorato, was held the inauguration ceremony with the title "King Hamad Chair for Inter-Religious Dialogue and Peace Co-existence", whose owner is Alessandro Saggioro. The ceremony opened with greetings from Rector Eugenio Gaudio and Crown Prince Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa representing the HM King of Bahrain Ḥamad bin'Īsā Āl Khalīfa.
The institution of the Chair aims to involve the new generations in a policy of knowledge and relationship between cultures and religions, as an antidote to extremism and radicalism. In a recent statement, His Majesty the King of Bahrain said: "Ignorance is the enemy of peace and therefore it is our duty to learn, share and live together".
