During a meeting with the Mayor of Rome Giorgio Alemanno, President Michele Capasso showed him the project of the Totem for Peace and also underlined the importance to realize the Totem in the Capital.
Mayor Alemanno was interested in the idea and promised to analyze the feasibility of the project in Rome.
Some Campania´s Mayors took part in a meeting promoted by President Capasso who showed the meaning and the importance of peace, receiving participants´ appreciation.
The Fondazione Mediterraneo has collaborated to the Jaguar Meeting for Peace – At the Foot of Vesuvius. President Michele Capasso and Mr. Leonzio Borea, Head of the Community Service National Bureau, inaugurated the Meeting for Peace, placing the Totem for Peace, by the sculptor Mario Molinari, on the unique prototype of the first Jaguar of 1934.
Under-secretary of State Stefania Craxi and the President of Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso assigned the title of “Peace-builder” to H.B. Mons. Fouad Twal, for his contribution to the realization of the Totem for Peace, by the Italian sculptor Mario Molinari, in the Holy Land.
